REGISTER YOUR WETLANDS
The primary goal of this registry is for wetland mitigation and restoration.  Whether your goal is to generate
income through leasing your wetland for hunting, creating a nature tourism site, or simply to protect your
resource, the  Watershed Institute National Wetlands Registry can help. Once received, the Wetlands
coordinator will contact you to discuss your property and conservation goals, after which you may choose to
list your property on the "seeking restoration" portion of the National Registry. All inquiries about listed
properties will be directed to the National Wetlands Coordinator, Frank Austenfeld who will notify you if a
potential match has been found.  If you are an organization with available funding click on the following link:

The secondary goal yet equally important is to have a national central registry database listing every
wetland in the United States of America.  This official registry is for all 50 states.
The Watershed Institute provides this National Wetland Registry site as a service to both private and public
landowners, as well as the conservation and business community. In this capacity, the Watershed Institute
serves as a national clearinghouse, finding connections between those who own property on which they
wish to restore wetlands and those who desire or need to participate in wetland restoration activities.
